    Babies

Your child will be in a safe and comfortable environment designed to stimulate and amuse him or her at all levels of development. Our baby room is flexible and accommodating to each child’s routine and needs, with experiences based on the children’s interests. We love to sing songs and read age appropriate books with each other. No matter the weather, we’ll go for walks around the local area in triple strollers and play outside in our garden areas.

Our cosy baby room includes comfortable play spaces, a story area, and an assortment of age appropriate toys. We provide high chairs and cots for the younger children and tables and beds for the older children.

Staff in the baby room don’t just care for your child’s needs. They stimulate your child’s curiosity and eagerness to learn through:-

    • Songs
    • Music

    • Sensory Activities
    • Rhymes

At this stage toddlers have grown into independent children ready to build on independence and learning. They continue to approach the world with curiosity eager to learn more and test out their theories. Using Curriculum for Excellence educators observe children using their questions and excitement to plan meaningful learning experiences where research, testing out, revisiting and predicting are encouraged supporting children to develop skills for life.

Independence is encouraged at meal times and whilst getting ready to go outside. Outdoor play features throughout much of the day where children’s cooperation skills and friendships can be extended. Risk assessing safe play as they climb, jump, work with tools and learn about nature brings much excitement and joy fostering a love for learning.
